Students of the GRCC SICE Ice Carving Team participated in the competition in Bay Harbor held this weekend. Student Jessica Miller took first place in the individual competition for her “Surfing Lizard” and Student Brandon Hooker took second place in the individual competition for his “Dog Catching a Frisbee.” They also won silver medals in the competition.
Thank you to Bob Schultz for coaching the students. Next weekend. the team will be in Frankenmuth for the National Collegiate competition.
