GRCC board gives the ‘OK’ to develop differential tuition rate for dual enrolled students

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Trustees at Grand Rapids Community College on Monday unanimously approved a proposal to develop a differential tuition rate for high school dual enrolled students, a move administrators say will make it more affordable for school districts to enroll students in college-level classes.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI The community greeted the re-opening of Grand Rapids Brewing Company on Dec. 5, the anniversary of prohibition’s repeal in 1933, with much enthusiasm as if it was the first brewery to open in this craft beer haven. Its location, on the corner of Ionia Avenue SW and West Fulton Street, makes it a gateway to the Arena District, once a desolate quarter, now a buzzing entertainment hub.
… GRCC Secchia Institute of Culinary Arts and Tapawingo alum Chef Adam Watts has created a menu with edginess unlike most brewpubs. Its whimsical on one end (pork belly lollipop, stout gelato float), crafted on the other (hand-cranked spicy chorizo, stuffed and rolled porchetta) with several stand-by items in between (burgers, hand-pressed sandwiches, roasted chicken breast).
