GVSU, WMEAC hosting Women & Environment Symposium

The West Michigan Environmental Action Council and Grand Valley State University are presenting the Second Annual Women & Environment Symposium on Friday, February 15 at the GVSU L.V. Eberhard Center in downtown Grand Rapids.

Mary Brown (adjunct instructor for Psychology Department) will be a part of the “Sustainability Builders: Women Leading Locally” panel discussion and presenting a workshop on Personal Planning for Living Sustainably. Her workshop will guide participants in naming their values and analyze the seven core aspects of their lifestyle where we can create self-empowered, positive change. Participants will have an opportunity to focus on lifestyle changes to sustain a thriving environment, social entrepreneurial goals or foster that business plan idea that will create the change they seek in their lives and communities.
