President Ender meets with students
President Dr. Steven C. Ender met with a group of students during a “Coffee & Conversation” session on February 21, 2013. Topics covered included the art and science of weather closings, student involvement, and gardening.
IIPD Grant Applications Due March 15, 2013
The deadline for submission of grant applications for the Instructional Improvement & Professional Development (IIPD) program is 4:30 p.m., March 15, 2013. The IIPD Application Packet and Guidelines are available in the Professional Development section of the Grants Department website at www.grcc.edu/iipdgrants. Please note: All applications should be delivered to the current location of the Grants and Resource Development Department at Room 137, Calkins Science Center. Communication Tools course offered on February 26, 2013
Networks Matter 2.0 is designed to help those wanting to advance professionally, the unemployed or under-employed, and people with low to moderate technology skills. It provides the tools to build stronger professional relationships through communication, social networking and technology, and it also helps develop a strategy for developing a professional network.
The sessions feature group meetings, presentations, online activities and attendance at community events.
Modules include:
- Communication Tools, 6-8 p.m. February 26, 2013, at Tassell M-TEC.
- Virtual Networks, 6-8 p.m. March 5 at Tassell M-TEC.
