A note of thanks from Heather Mol

A note of thanks from Heather Mol: As a temporary faculty member experiencing acculturation into the society of academia, I can’t thank you enough for extending your welcoming support to me. To each faculty member that stepped in to cover my classes, donated days so I could recover without worrying about finances, sent cards and emails, and to the Nursing Department for the beautiful plant, THANK YOU! I am overwhelmed with the kindness you have shown.

2 New Online Courses Developed at GRCC!

GRCC enrollment for this winter semester has grown to nearly 6,000, which represents a 17% growth from the previous year.

Assisting in the expansion of online learning, the Department of Distance Learning would like to recognize and thank the following instructors and departments for their work on the development of 2 new online courses! This is important work and connects with the College’s Access End statement around providing flexible learning options that remove obstacles such as time and place.

  • CD 215, developed by Deb Vilmont
  • WE 189, developed by Melanie Shiele

Thank you again for advancing online learning at GRCC!
