You may have already had the opportunity to meet Kim, as she has facilitated several workshops at GVSU that have been made available to GRCC employees through the workshop collaboration pilot. Kim has been contracted to present several career development opportunities to GRCC faculty and staff, throughout the spring and summer. She is dedicated to helping professionals proactively develop successful careers that are engaging, sustainable and fulfilling. Kim’s career began in counseling and transitioned into building a forward-focused coaching and consulting business that provides career services to businesses and individuals. Her professional history also includes human resources administration, library and education services, wellness, marketing analysis and industrial and commercial sales and marketing.

UCAN – The University Career Advancement Network
As you grow your career, it’s important to develop a network of professionals willing to provide you with guidance and feedback. The University Career Advancement Network (UCAN) is a LinkedIn group designed to help you integrate routine networking into your day. UCAN is a vehicle for connecting GVSU and GRCC staff members for informational interviewing purposes, mentoring and career guidance by offering a database of fellow professionals who are willing to share, inspire and help you grow professionally.
