Concert features 5 West Michigan guitarists, composers

Holland — Hope College will host five West Michigan guitarist and composers performing original works in a 7:30 p.m. concert tonight (April 11) in Wichers Auditorium of Nykerk Hall of Music.

From two-time MHSAA state champions at Beal City to Division I baseball at Oakland University, Jared Theisen and Drew Bechtel have been surrounded by baseball much of their lives.
… “I started playing shortstop in college, but then I transferred to Grand Rapids Community College and there was a good shortstop there so I moved to the outfield and it was the best move I ever made,” said Theisen. “I love it. I love running balls down and using my speed to make things happen defensively.”
