GRCC police officers to benefit leukemia research with Grand Rapids Triathlon

GRCC Police Officers Bo Peters and Chris Armstrong will be participating in their first triathlon on Jume 9. They will be participating in the sprint distance of the Grand Rapids Triathlon. Both Officers have been training for this event for months. They have decided to use this event as a fundraiser. Both Bo and Chris have been directly impacted by Leukemia. Chris’ mother passed away in 2005 as a result of Leukemia and Bo’s father is currently battling Leukemia. They are asking for your support. They have established a website that makes for a secure and easy way to contribute to the Leukemia Research Foundation. They hope the funds they raise will assist the Leukemia Research Foundation in their efforts to find better forms of treatment and maybe some day even a cure. Any amount helps.

Thank you
