GRCC to invest $315,000 for improvements to Belknap Park athletic fields

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Belknap Park’s baseball and softball field are set to be spruced up, thanks to a $315,000 investment from Grand Rapids Community College.

For farmer Chad Anderson, the desire to be a farmer started in 2007, by planting a garden in Uganda.

Seniors cap high school careers with John Bos softball games

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — Wayland senior Nina DiCesare competed in her final high school softball game Thursday when she took part in the annual John Bos All-Star Games at Gainey Athletic Complex.

… (Kaitlin) Klompstra didn’t play on the varsity softball team until her junior year, and it wasn’t until last summer when she started thinking about playing college softball. She will play at Grand Rapids Community College next year.
