WCCC president Daniel Obara to retire after 4 years

The Westmoreland County Community College board will soon begin a nationwide search to replace its president, Daniel Obara, 70, who will step down next June.
… Mr. Obara joined the college in 1996 as vice president for academic affairs and became president four years ago after Steven Ender left the position.

Nothing has come easy for Jimmy Allen.
… Allen flourished with the Fenton High School football program, and had desires to play collegiate football at a D1 school. However, he started his career at Grand Rapids Community College as a strong punter for the squad. He left Grand Rapids JC looking for a DI position, but ended up going to Rochester Community and Technical College to play his sophomore season. Instead, he was unable to play because of a transcript dispute with some of his classes he took at Mott Community College.
