Staff Development Introduces New Facilitator

The Employer’s Association has been invited to present four, two-part courses to GRCC Staff and Faculty. The Employers’ Association has provided training solutions to West Michigan organizations since 1939. Their training resources help supervisors and managers effectively communicate to others and “own” the decisions and assignments that they make. They teach leaders how to work with and through others, empowering managers to assume departmental shortcomings while allowing staff to claim individual successes. They help leaders understand their strengths, overcome their weaknesses and apply their knowledge in a very practical world.

The courses that are available through Staff Development are:

  • Conflict Strategies – Friday Oct 18, 2013 and Friday Oct 25, 2013 from 9-11 AM in Room 125 CSC
  • Effective Communication Skills – Friday Nov. 8, 2013 and Friday Nov. 15, 2013 from 9-11 AM in Room 103 Sneden
