GRAND RAPIDS, Mich — A theatrical performance at Grand Rapids Community College is receiving criticism from some community members and a concerned board trustee for its controversial nature that included a nude actor on stage.

Morningside’s Young ties for first at Whistling Straits

KOHLER, Wis. — Matt Young of Morningside College finished in a three-way tie for first in the Kohler Collegiate Classic, which concluded Tuesday at Whistling Straits.

Young fired a 1-over 73 in Tuesdays second round and finished at 149, the same as Jared Multer of Grand Rapids Community College and Blake Vinson of Texas Wesleyan.

The Kellogg Community College women’s soccer team has canceled the remainder of its season, citing a rash of season-ending injuries that have left the Lady Bruins short-handed.

… If KCC defeated Ancilla and beats host Grand Rapids CC in Thursday’s regular season finale, it would still needed a loss by Lansing CC to force a three-way tie for fifth place with identical 5-9 league records.
