The holidays are around the corner and we are looking for your help to stock the student food pantry. Last year, we held a food drive at the annual employee holiday breakfast and it was very successful. It actually took the Student Life Office staff almost five hours to put everything on the shelves! We are hoping for the same results or better this year!
The GRCC Food Pantry serves between fifty to sixty students on a semester basis. The donations will not only help these students, but they will also support the students’ dependents.
The holiday breakfast is scheduled for December 13th, 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM. We will have bins ready to fill, so please consider bringing in any non-perishable items from home. Below are the high need items:
- Cans of Tuna
- Cans of Chicken
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Peanut Butter
- Rice
- Pasta
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Cans of Ravioli/Spaghetti O’s
- Boxed Meals
- Boxes of Cereal
- Instant Oatmeal (individual packets)
- Granola Bars
- Pop Tarts
- Paper Towel Rolls
- Toilet Paper
- Shampoo/Soap
