LaughFest 2014 ticket packages selling ahead of previous festival

Personal trainer certification course starts in February

If you enjoy helping others and are passionate about good health, you could become a certified personal trainer!

GRCC’s Personal Trainer Certification Course gives you hands-on, interactive learning opportunities, including knowledge of overall wellness components. Our training prepares you to take the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT) Certification exam. The exam fee and a one-year membership in the National Strength and Conditioning Association are included in the tuition. A competency-based, 36-hour internship gives you real-life skills application.

Many people who receive the NSCA Personal Trainer certification go on to work in an entry-level position at a fitness center, health club, or corporate wellness department. You can even start your own business!

Important holiday break information

GRCC will close for the semester break starting 5 p.m. Dec. 20, 2013, through January 1, 2014. The college will reopen at 8 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. All GRCC campuses will be closed during this period. Students will be able to access college information online but will not be able to access information in person, or via phone, until campus offices re-open on Jan. 2.
