Tower safety training offered in January

GRCC is the premier provider of safety training for working at heights.  The NATE Competent Climber and Competent Rescuer course meets or exceeds the National Association of Tower Erectors (NATE) course training standards.

The course is designed for tower erectors, maintenance, and service companies. Successful candidates receive Authorized Climber, Competent Climber, and Competent Rescuer certifications. Using state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, students are instructed in the skills necessary to work on and around towers. They will receive instruction in rescue devices, fall arrest systems, and rescue procedures. Most of the training takes place in an indoor training facility that offers students a controlled environment to focus on building skills and confidence.

The course runs 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. January 14 and 15 at Tassell M-TEC. To learn more or register, click here.
