Is he a writer with an appetite for hardware?

Or is he a hardware man with an affinity for writing?

… (Bob) VanderLugt was raised in an old farmhouse on 44th Street SE where his dad raised pigeons and bunnies. He attended a small Christian school that was part of a church, and graduated from South Christian High. He attended Calvin College and Grand Rapids Junior College, and just returned to Calvin two years ago, where at 52 hes zeroing in on a degree in Writing.

GRCC to host job fair tomorrow at M-TEC

It’s time to revisit your resume and take the suit to the dry cleaners as GRCC will be hosting a job fair Thursday at the Leslie M. Tassel M-TEC building located on 622 Godfrey SW in Grand Rapids.

Sometimes a little time off is good for the soul, but Kalamazoo Valley Community College women’s basketball Ron Welch is still not convinced that playing a college basketball game without practicing is a great plan. Because of the recent weather related closings of the college the Cougars had practiced once in the last week, on Tuesday.

The Cougars were able to find their footing and defeat Grand Rapids Community College 69-51 on Wednesday.
