GRCC wellness professor receives state recognition for service learning

SAGINAW, MI — The Saginaw Sting are angry. They’re amped up, and they’re ready.

… Humes starred for the Lumberjacks in high school, helping lead them to the playoffs against Midland High in 2007, before moving on to college where he won a National Championship with Grand Rapids Community College. However, a bout of yearning for familiarity brought Humes back to Saginaw after a year.
