Items needed for foster care children

Children entering foster care often arrive with no belongings.

D. A. Blodgett—St. John’s tries to give each child a “care bag” containing items they can immediately call their own upon moving into their foster home. The information below provides suggestions on how to organize care bags. Generally, it is helpful to fill a back pack or duffel bag with the items.

The Grants and Resource Development Department is collecting items for D. A. Blodgett—St. John’s home. Our goal is to put together 100 foster kids care bags for our community service project in celebration of GRCC’s 100th year.
