The Employee (and Student Employee) Wellness class schedule is ready! We’d love to have you join us anytime! We have a lot of classes this summer so drop in and try them out! You are always welcome! The classes run for the first 8 weeks of the summer – from May 5 through June 27. The cost to attend any or all of these classes is $20.00

A committee of GRCC staff & faculty selected Patricia Kolenko, (known as Paddie) as the Outstanding Adult Learner to represent Grand Rapids Community College at the annual GRAHEN (Grand Rapids Area Higher Education Network) OAL Award Ceremony and Reception. The event was held on Wednesday, April 16 and took place on our campus at Sneden Hall. Patricia, along with other winners from the other member schools, were honored for achievements in academics, community service, and leadership.

GRAND RAPIDS, MI — There were no more secrets last October when Ion and Mioara Bugan and their three children met for a reunion with their former neighbors in Draganesti, a small village in eastern Romania.
… Carmen studied at Grand Rapids Community College, then at the University of Michigan and Oxford University. Besides writing Burying the Typewriter, she has published a collection of poems, “Crossing The Carpathians.” She won the 2011 Katharine Bakeless Nason Prize for non-fiction. Her second collection of poems, “The House of Straw” came out early this year.
