New laptop added to get-well wishes for injured student

Bad things sometimes bring out the best in all of us, and the entire Grand Rapids community has rallied to support GRCC student Osman Koroma, who was seriously injured when he and his guide dog were hit by a car in March.

While he’s determined to resume his studies here, his laptop was destroyed in the accident. President Ender decided that was where he could help. He purchased one for Mr. Koroma and it was delivered to him last week.

Mr. Koroma was resting after a therapy session when the laptop arrived, but he said he’s very appreciative – and very excited. He plans to return to our campus this fall!
