Moss Ingram took students in his computer support technician class to the one-day Trivalent Solutions Group Expo at Calvin College. Keynote presenters at the event were Ben Tyson, from Google, and Lance J. Richards, of Kelly Services. In addition to attending break-out sessions, students had the chance to speak with representatives from Microsoft, Google and other Fortune 100 companies, as well as IT leaders from local employers.
One student perfectly summed up the experience: “Now I understand why we spend so much time learning about business in our computer class.”
