Aug. 18, 2014; The Battle Creek Enquirer

Jared Multer had luck on his side just in case he needed it.

… “I’m just really happy to have won one of these. It means a lot to me. When I first got out of high school, I was playing good golf, but I still needed to improve. And I’ve worked really hard on my game to get it where it is today. My dream was always to win one of these (CalAms) and to play golf at a Division I school, which I wasn’t ready for when I graduated from Lakeview and then started playing college golf at Grand Rapids Community College. But now, my game is where I want it to be, I’m headed to Eastern Michigan … and to have won this today while playing with good friends and with a lot of other good golfers in the field, this is just really special.”
