Fundación GRCC realiza gala por el 100 aniversario de colegio

GRAND RAPIDS, MICHIGAN (EVH) — El pasado martes 14 de octubre el Grand Rapids Community College celebró su 100th aniversario con una Gala que contó con la presencia del gobernador de Michigan Rick Snyder y diversas personalidades del área de Grand Rapids.

Academic Governing Council hosts candidate forum on October 21

On Tuesday, October 21 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in 108 Sneden (multi-purpose room), the Academic Governing Council is hosting a forum for the GRCC Board of Trustees candidates. All four candidates, Debra Bailey, Cynthia Bristol, Jim Harvey, and Mike Paskewicz, have been invited to attend and Mike Light will serve as our moderator.

Sessions added to Run, Hide Fight schedule

This training is required for all college staff and faculty, INCLUDING Contingency and Student Employees

If you have not had the opportunity to attend the Run. Hide. Fight Active Shooter Response Training, two sessions have been added to the schedule:

  • Thu. October 30 from 10:30 AM – 12 PM in Room 168 ATC Auditorium
  • Thu. December 4 from 3-4:30 PM in Room 118 ATC

The 90 minute training session will be presented by GRCC Police Chief Rebecca Whitman, and will describe what an active shooter is; detail the ‘Run Hide Fight’ response to an active shooter situation; explain ways to recognize and report potential threats to our campus, and answer any questions attendees may have.
