Mr. Scott Shall, Department Chair of Architecture at Lawrence Technological University, will giving a talk entitled “Pretty Ugly,” this Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. in room 124 of the ATC. Mr. Shall will discuss the value of the homely, accidental, risky and inconvenient within creative inquiry.
He and David Dye, professor of mechanical and architectural design at GRCC, will be on hand before and after the lecture to discuss GRCC’s master of architecture program with LTU with interested students. This program allows student to start the first two years of LTU’s master of architecture program at GRCC. After completing an associate degree at GRCC, students will move on to the Integrated Design Studios at LTU and continue into their master of architecture program.
