Tom Muckels Lady Vikings fell twice at home on Friday to Grand Rapids Community College 15-4 and 13-9.
Muskegon Community College baseball team starts league season 3-1

MUSKEGON, MI – The Muskegon Community College baseball team started the Western Conference portion of its schedule with a doubleheader sweep of Lake Michigan on its way to a 3-1 week.
… SOFTBALL: The Jayhawks dropped a pair of tight games to Lansing Community College 3-1 and 2-1 Tuesday. Nicole DePender pitched well in the opener, but the Jayhawks couldn’t muster enough offense outside of Morgan Gidding’s first home run of the season and Megan Jean’s double. In Game 2, Giddings hit 2-for-3 and C.J. Masseau added the only other MCC hit. Jean and Katie Hendrickson pitched for the Jayhawks. On Saturday, MCC went 3-1 at the Kankakee CC Tournament, with its only loss to sixth-ranked Illinois Central College. The Jayhawks defeated Kankakee (5-3), East Central (18-3) and Oakland CC (17-3) on the day. The Jayhawks travel to Grand Rapids CC Tuesday.
