Calkins Science Center

Did you know that the Richard W. Calkins Science Center, which opened in January of 2000, contains a 150-seat auditorium, a greenhouse, a Jurassic Learning Garden, and a cadaver laboratory that uses cadavers rented from Michigan State University?  The building was conceived and planned by the science faculties of the college — a dream they made a reality.

Read about this and much more in Open Door, the newly published 100-year history of GRJC-GRCC. The book can be purchased at Schuler Books, the GRCC Library, or online here.
