GRCC is sponsoring two presentations that can help Registered Medical Assistants earn continuing education credits. Both will take place 6:15-9 p.m. June 4 at Tassell M-TEC, 622 Godfrey Ave. SW. The cost is $10.
- “New Generation Tobacco Products: Big Tobacco’s Candy Land,” by public health consultant Elaine C. Lyon, of the state Department of Community Health — Review efforts at tobacco prevention and learn about new products, including hookah and electronic cigarettes.
- “Specimen Collection Follies,” by Jeffrey Lavendar, adjunct faculty member at Kirtland Community College and test administrator with the U.S. Military Entrance Processing Command.
