… Lisa graduated from Grand Rapids Community College with a focus on art and art history. She has two pieces of art that are part of the colleges permanent collection. This is her fourth time entering ArtPrize.
Leroy Davis, a former counselor at GRCC, passed away September 21. Visitation is scheduled for 1-5 p.m. today at Ivy K. Gillespie Chapel, 1865 Eastern Ave. SE in Grand Rapids. Services will be held at 11 a.m. September 25.
The Student Life Staff did a great job in putting together and coordinating the Mandatory Officers Training. It’s obvious that a lot of time and effort was involved in putting that event together. The event was delightful and engaging, while also very informational. It was a great opportunity for student leaders to get know each other and learn about what is expected of them as leaders. Thanks also go to all of the presenters involved that night. Overal,l it was a fun and educational night for student leaders and advisers alike.
