Celebrate Dia de lost Muertos with Latino Student Support Team

The Latino Student Support Team invites you to celebrate and learn about “Dia de los Muertos”! Horchata, coffee, tamales, and pan dulce (sweet bread) will be served!

“Día de los Muertos” is a holiday celebrated in Mexico (and many other countries) that honors family and friends who have passed on. This is a time of celebration and remembrance in which altars are built to commemorate the life of departed loved ones.

When/where: Monday, November 2nd from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm at the College Success Center, (room 113 Sneden)

Banners made from different colors of paper that have been cut into shapes of cacti, sombreros and suns hang from the ceiling. Four tables – two rectangular and two circular – are decorated with phots, candles and figurines.
