Professional Development Opportunities:

• Maximize your ability to think, learn, and create in a collaborative environment by attending our Collaboration with the Brain in Mind workshop! In this session, you will learn some basic concepts about the social nature of the human brain; how it manages risk & reward in the workplace, as well as strategies to remove several common barriers and create an environment that fosters collaborative relationship and thinking. Join us Tuesday, January 19th from 1:00pm – 2:30pm.
• Learn about, or refresh your memory, on the GRCC Purchasing Policy with our Purchasing Department! They will be presenting our current policy and holding an open discussion with Q&A on Wednesday, January 20th from 9:30am – 11:00am.
• Join us for an in-depth conversation examining how the disease of racism affects all people in our daily environments. The Institute for Healing Racism is a powerful, thought provoking workshop intended to bring people together to explore issues of race and racism in a two part series held Thursday, January 28th from 8:45am – 5:00pm and Friday, January 29th from 9:00am – 3:30pm.
