Area high school grads making impact on college sports scene

The winter season is well underway for local college athletes. Following is a look at some area high school graduates who have been making news both this winter season on the collegiate level.

… Kevin Brower, a Rockford grad, is a sophomore on the Grand Rapids Community College basketball team. Brower, a forward, is averaging seven points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Brower is shooting 55.6% from three-point range and 47.7% from the field.

GRCC hosts online sale January 21

Grand Rapids Community College will be hosting an Online Sale on January 21. Everything in the sale will be 10% off. Prices will be updated at the checkout page. This sale, running from 7 am to 7 pm, will feature retired College technology and resources including laptops, desktops, monitors, electronics, lost & found items, and many others! A specific inventory listing will be available the day of the sale.
