Forest Hills Northern survives Rockford’s Maddy Watters’ 32-point game to win district opener, 47-45

GRAND RAPIDS — Forest Hills Northern girls basketball coach Kent Graves polled his coaching staff moments after the Huskies beat Rockford 47-45 in Monday nights Class A district opener.

… (Maddy) Watters comes from a basketball family. Her cousin, Zach Zenner, is a junior at West Catholic and is averaging 18 points a game. Watters has another cousin, Courtney Zenner, who is scoring nearly 18 points for Grand Rapids Community College.
