Grand Rapids, Mich — GRCC’s Raider baseball team travels to NJCAA DII #8 Sinclair Community College this weekend for a four-game road stand against the top team in the OCCAC.

Excellence in Education–A Time to Nominate

The Excellence in Education Award was established in 1989 to honor an individual Grand Rapids Community College employee for his or her contributions to the College, higher education and the community. In 2000, the award was expanded to provide recognition in the form of a staff award, and a separate full-time faculty award. In 2010, an additional award was added for an exemplary adjunct faculty member.

The nomination deadline is Friday, March 25.

Transgender policy training

Kimberly DeVries will be highlighting our new procedures for preferred name changes and email address changes, as well as explain our processes in this area. The discussion will include the overarching goals of our policy, and how employees can assist in fulfilling those goals. Deadline for IIPD grants is today

The deadline for the submission of grant applications for the Instructional Improvement & Professional Development (IIPD) Grants program is 4:30 p.m., March 18, 2016. Applicants are encouraged to submit their applications electronically. The IIPD application packet and IIPD Guidelines are available in the GRCC Internal Grants area of the Grants Office website at www.grcc.edu/grants.
