GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The Grand Rapids Community College Counseling and Career Center is receiving a three-year, $226,034 grant to create a Campus Suicide Prevention Program.

Fire at downtown GR office building closes part of Lyon St.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A fire at a law office building may affect some drivers in downtown Grand Rapids.

A passerby called 911 around 12:45 a.m. Thursday after noticing heavy smoke coming from the Barristers Building, located at the corner of Lyon Street and Division Avenue near Grand Rapids Community College.
