Training session focuses on online cheating

Would you like to learn how to prevent cheating during online exams?

The Distance Learning and Instructional Technologies department will host training on LockDown Browser and Respondus Monitor this Wednesday, September 9th , from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room 351 Main.

LockDown Browser is a custom browser that prevents digital cheating during an online test in Blackboard Learn. Respondus Monitor is a companion product for LockDown Browser that deters cheating when students take online exams in non-proctored environments. Students use their own computers with a standard webcam to record assessment sessions.

To sign up, please visit the Center for Teaching Excellence website and register for the “Prev. cheating Dur. Onl. Exams” section. For more details on the content of the training, please click on the following link: LockDown Browser & Respondus Monitor Flyer
