Five vie for 3 seats on the Grand Rapids Community College board

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Five candidates are vying for three, six-year seats on the Grand Rapids Community College Board of Trustees in the Tuesday, Nov. 8, general election.

Running Back Finds Way to Crookston After Juco Program Discontinued

Over four years ago, the decision was made to discontinue the football program at Grand Rapids Community College, after they had put up an unblemished 11-0 mark to win the Midwest Football Conference. Many young men, including Andre Person, were left without a place to play. That is when fellow Detroit-natives and former Grand Rapids Community College players Tevin Kellum and Andrew “Rock” Hall stepped in and steered him to the University of Minnesota Crookston.
