Radiologic Technology program hosts Teddy Bear Clinic

The Radiologic Technology Program hosted its annual Teddy Bear Clinic with the GRCC Preschool Lab on October 25. The Radiography students gained experience with the younger pediatric population, and the preschoolers learned about the field of health care, x-rays, and human anatomy through interactive games and activities. The preschoolers receive an x-ray of their toy that was brought to the clinic, along with a Polaroid picture of themselves as Sammy the Skeleton.

Thank you to Kyle Lackscheide, Assistant Professor for Residential Construction at the MTech Center, for making the board for Sammy the Skeleton and Jamey Limbers, a student from visual arts, for painting Sammy the Skeleton.
