American jobs are going to robots, not China.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Donald Trump blames Mexico and China for stealing millions of jobs from the United States.

… “We’ve never had so much attention from manufacturers. They’re calling and saying: ‘Can we meet your students?’ They’re asking, ‘Why aren’t they looking at my job postings?'” says Julie Parks, executive director of workforce training at Grand Rapids Community College in western Michigan.

College names finalists for president

McKendree women’s basketball team seeks more progress under Kerkhoff

LEBANON — A reversal of its 12-17 record of last season might be a bit much to ask from the McKendree University women’s basketball team.

… Two other players, senior Charley Lett and junior Abby Smith, could earn minutes off the bench and provide scoring punch. Shauniera Wilson, a 6-3 junior, also returns. Sara Karamol is a 5-9 junior who transferred from Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan.
