Rattlers sign five more players for 2017 season

Phoenix, Ariz. – The Arizona Rattlers announced Wednesday that they have signed quarterback Aaron Aiken, offensive lineman DeShawn Byrd, defensive lineman Edward Mosley, offensive linemen Keyun Swinney, and running back DeJaun Wright for the team’s inaugural season in the Indoor Football League (IFL).

… Byrd (6-5, 320, Tennessee State) attended Tennessee State where he was a two-year starter for the Tigers. Prior to transferring to Tennessee State, Byrd also attended Grand Rapids Community College where he earned MFC East All-Region and First Team All-MFC honors.

Jayhawks hosting eight-team regional volleyball tournament this weekend

MUSKEGON — Muskegon Community College volleyball coach Rick Rykse has spent six years developing a winning program, and this year’s Jayhawks squad is upholding the tradition.

… The Jayhawks will play a challenging field of opponents in the weekend tournament, including Grand Rapids Community College, which edged out MCC for the Western Conference title in the MCCAA this season.

The Fountain Hill Brewery provided a nice venue to enjoy each other’s company, learn about our groundbreaking brewery program, and try some delicious craft brews and appetizers.
