The Well sponsors Giving Tree

The Well’s November event is the Giving Tree. Your participation in The Giving Tree event will help students of The Well (Women Empowering Leadership and Learning) finish strong this semester. In the Inclusion and Equity office, you will find our giving tree. The leaves on the Giving Tree represent a student’s need.

Here’s how it works:

  1. GRCC staff go to the Inclusion and Equity Office conference room.
  2. Select a leaf from The Giving Tree (each leaf represents a student who is part of The Well).
  3. Purchase item on the leaf.
  4. Bring item back to The Inclusion and Equity Office by 5:00 p.m. Nov. 21.

Between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 28, we will host an event to distribute your gifts to students of The Well. Volunteers are needed to staff this event. Please notify Erika Bailey of your availability if you are willing to participate.

Your participation helps to eliminate a barrier for our students. Thank you for putting your financial support behind these deserving young women!
