Danish company plans North American plant on West Side

A Danish maker of upholstery products is setting up its first North American operation on the West Side.

… The Right Place said it connected Gabriel with West Michigan Works!, Grand Rapids Community College, Kendall College of Art and Design and various financial institutions, legal advisors, schools and housing.

Jayhawk men explode late in first half, pull away for an 82-68 win over Delta

The Muskegon Community College men’s basketball team shook off the rust from a long layoff and grabbed an 82-68 win over Delta College on Tuesday.

… The Jayhawks, now 6-3 on the season, will hit the court again after the holiday break when they host Grand Rapids Community College on Jan. 4 at 7:30 p.m.

MCC Jayhawks women’s squad overcomes bad quarter, pounds Delta College 69-52

The Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team overcame a bad second quarter to claim a 69-52 victory over Delta College on Tuesday.

… The Jayhawks improved to 6-2 on the season. They will open their conference season Jan. 4 at home against Grand Rapids Community College at 5:30 p.m.
