The MLK Day of Service is just around the corner, and volunteers are needed!
On Monday, Jan. 16, GRCC will be participating, along with many other schools, in a day of service in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. There are two different service times available. We will be serving for about two hours, but the time includes transportation to and from the service site as well as spoken word that will occur before we leave. Transportation is provided and all volunteers will receive a shirt and a snack!
8 a.m.-11:30 a.m. The Boy Scouts of America – We will be cleaning up their office and helping them prepare for the new year!
1-4:30 p.m. The Well House – We’ll be preparing a house for the next group of youth who will be living there.
