The CAP 1.3.3 (Latino Support Team) hosted a Conectate event this past Saturday at Tassell M-TEC. The purpose of the event was to celebrate and get to know currently enrolled Hispanic and Latino students at GRCC. During the event, we also provided a presentation explaining how our group can support those students on campus. Additionally, there were resources ranging from Title IX, Be Nice organization, Financial Aid, Undocumented Student Resources, TRIO, College Success Center, Tutoring, and the Bob and Aleicia Woodrick Center for Equity and Inclusion. Telamon Corp. was also there to promote financial assistance to students or their families who work in agriculture.
