Basketball teams advance to NJCAA District Tournament

GRCC’s basketball teams advance to NJCAA District Tournament play with wins over Jackson College, as the women’s team won 70-60 and the men 81-69.  GRCC’s 7th-seeded women will travel to Lake Michigan College on Tuesday, March 7th, to face the No. 2-seed Redhawks in the first round of NJCAA District G play.  GRCC’s 4th-seeded men’s team will play host to the fifth-seeded Mid-Michigan Community College on Tuesday, March 7th, for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff of NJCAA District 9 play.
