SiTE:LAB to feature GRCC students’ artwork on April 8

Professor Filippo Tagliati of the Visual Arts Department has organized a student art exhibition for Art Downtown 2017. The exhibition will be displayed from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday at SiTE:LAB, 333 Rumsey St. SW.

The event features student work from:

• GRCC.
• Grand Valley State University.
• College for Creative Studies.
• Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University.
• Hope College.

Physical Sciences Students of the Year

The Physical Sciences Department named its Students of the Year:

• Excellence in Chemistry award winner — Michelle Brown.
• Excellence in Geology award winner — Kie Bachman.
• Excellence in Physics and Astronomy award winner — Alex Antonakis.

The students were presented their awards at the Student Leadership Banquet on Wednesday, April 5, 2017.
