DR 279 Team Design in the Maker Lab

Mike Merchant says great stuff is happening this summer with the DR 279 Team Design class lead by Mechanical Design Adjunct Professor Dan Estes:

“They took on a project to create UV curing stations for our Acrylic Based 3D printer which will add so much value to this lab (and created by our students). What an awesome space with the tools and equipment to do this collaborative work.”

Glaza Chosen to Attend NCAA Career in Sports Forum

Recent Grand Valley State volleyball player Amanda Glaza was one of just three GLIAC student-athletes selected to take part in the NCAA Career in Sports Forum in Indianapolis this week. Glaza was a two-year letterwinner with the Lakers and received GLIAC All-Academic Team honors at the conclusion of the 2016 season.
…Glaza transferred to GVSU after two seasons at Grand Rapids Community College. Last season, she appeared in 24 matches and 78 total sets, finishing second on the team in service aces (19), fourth in assists (40), and fifth in digs (219). She tallied double-digit digs in 10 matches and put together three contests of at least 20 digs. Glaza ranked 25th in the GLIAC in aces per set last season.
