Grand Rapids seeking new principals for Ottawa Hills, City high schools

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Grand Rapids Public Schools has launched a national search to find the next principal of Ottawa Hills High Schools, and will also be searching for a new leader for its International Baccalaureate program, City High Middle School.

… The next Ottawa Hills principal will take the reins as the district launches its first Middle College program in partnership with Grand Rapids Community College. The program allows students to earn both a diploma and associate’s degree by committing to a fifth year of high school.

‘Cooking With Angus’ wins Emmy

An episode of “Cooking With Angus” won an Emmy from the the Michigan chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences! Noah DeSmit and Klaas Kwant accepted the award during the Detroit ceremony on June 10. The “Mozzarella” episode was nominated in the Historic/Cultural program or special category.
