The office of Student Life and Conduct will be hosting a Student Leadership Institute for all GRCC students.
This conference-style institute — from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. September 15 in the Student Center — is open to all GRCC students who want to gain more experience in leadership and what to learn more about how to start and manage a student organization. It’s free to all students, and lunch is provided.
The theme of this Student Leadership Institute is Back to Basics. Conference-style sessions will consist of:
- Communication within Student Organizations.
- Using and Managing OrgSync.
- Managing Student Organization Funds.
- Conflict Management.
- Programming and Advertising … and more!
The Student Leadership Institute is funded by the Campus Activities Fee and supported by the Student Life and Conduct office.
We encourage all departments to encourage their student staff members to participate. Staff and faculty are also welcomed to submit proposals to present at the conference.
For more questions, staff and faculty may contact Thalia at firstname.lastname@example.org.
