Business Cafe session explores law careers

Business Department faculty discuss various topics throughout the semester in the Business Cafe series. All the sessions are drop-in — and open to all students, not just those in business majors — so stay for 10 minutes or the entire time. Snacks are provided!

Professor Garry Brand will explore multiple paths from GRCC to an undergraduate degree and law school from 1-2 p.m. Nov. 2 in room 210 of Cook.

Dia de los Muertos observance is today

The Latino Student Support Team invites you to celebrate and learn about Dia de los Muertos! Please join us today at the Student Life Office, located on the first floor of the Student Center. Our “Day of the Dead” celebration will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.  Tamales, pan dulce (sweet bread), and refreshments will be served! Dia de los Muertos is a holiday celebrated in Mexico (and many other countries) that honors family and friends who have passed on. This is a time of celebration and remembrance in which altars are built to commemorate the life of departed loved ones.

The altar will be on display through November 3rd. This event is open to all students, staff, and faculty.

We look forward to seeing you there!
