Black Knights ready for new era with Cegelis

BELDING — Having lost its leading scorer and facing its third coach in as many seasons, the Belding girls basketball team may be searching for an identity, but it certainly hasn’t lost any confidence.
… (Head coach John) Cegelis, 43, a 1993 Greenville graduate, took over the position after Conner Hoke left after the season concluded to take a coaching job at Grandville to be closer to home. The Black Knights also lost leading scorer and floor general Hailee Breimeyer, who graduated and is now part of the Grand Rapids Community College women’s basketball team.
